NAOMI K SUTHERLAND – BIOGRAPHY

Naomi Kelly Sutherland is working worldwide as a model/ TV reporter.

Academically Nae possess’ an HNC in Journalism and an HNC in Media Production. Hence trained in all areas of the media. Naomi is capable of researching, writing, broadcasting and of course editing. Technically trained to use Quark Express, Adobe, Final Cut Pro. Luckily, these skills can be applied to music, radio, print or television.

Apart from the technical, Nae thrives on travelling and the study of ethnology. This interest began when she studied French and Latin from school onto University. Her natural aptitude for languages was apparent. Whilst modelling for Coppertone, MTV Latino and TV Azteca in Mexico she quickly tuned into Spanish then went on to study Georgian and Italian.

Naomi has lived and worked as a model, actor and writer in Miami, NYC, London, Scotland and more recently Paris.

Her current credits to date are as follows: Modelling projects for Big Breakfast, Richard and Judy, Tag Clothing, Maxim Magazine, Vivienne Westwood, Bennetton and Ferrari (Formula 1), Newcastle Council, Hydro Electric, Groschlager and Coppertone. TV work for Rivercity (BBC Scotland), Scotsport, ‘11ANGELS’,  Trouble TV, Live TV, Channel 3+4, Grampian Television. Music experience with Subliminal records in NYC.

Clearly Nae has worked, trained and gained experience in all spheres of the Media. Apart from her technical training her roots are of a creative nature.

Nae K also studied 5years of Drama and Effective Speaking through Trinity College in London whilst undertaking her secondary education. In her early years she studued acting, ballet, piano, violin and singing. Naturally creative she wishes to incorporate both her technical media/acting training with her love for the arts: music, religion, travel, sports and fashion.

Nae is neither a City slicker or a country bumpkin. She loves the hustle and bustle of NYC, London and Paris but at the same time requires the peace of the country, walking and writing. Her interests are so diverse: languages, travel, foreign affairs, fashion, hip-hop, alternative medicine, yoga, Kabbalah and rallying very fast cars.

In the words of a London Manager ‘Nae is what us Londoners would call 'a wee bonny lass', with Scotland as her birth place, Nae divides her time and skills as a model, journalist and TV presenter between London and her home. Whilst travelling the globe Nae modelled and acted her way through many a city including Miami, NYC, Milan and most recently Paris, not content with being this side of the camera Nae bagged herself an HNC in Journalism and is now capable of writing, producing and editing.
